Myths, Legends, and Stories

This week, kids explored creation and nature stories from cultures all over the world and throughout time. Each day, they completed a nature-based art activity that related to the morning story. Parents were invited to a gallery show at the end of the week to view children’s art.

This banner was created by dyeing an old bedsheet (prepared for dye by scouring, bleaching, washing, and cutting with pinking shears). Dyes used: beet, blackberry, curry, and chili powders.
