Fabric Dyeing with Nature (August 12-16; 9am-3pm daily)

  • Tree Folk Outdoor Education 20451 South Central Point Road Oregon City, OR, 97045 United States (map)

Ages 5-11, extended care sign ups available between 8am-5pm. Colors are all around us, especially at this time of year! We’ll harvest nature’s beautiful hues from our dye garden and forage along hiking trails to create natural ink and dye for fabrics. At the end of the week, we will get to give fabrics like old shirts, linens, and tote bags new life through the natural dyeing process. Kids will get to bring items from home or use some available old fabrics to create a project for them to keep.
