Nature's Bounty: Exploring Edible Nature

Ages 5-11, extended care sign ups available between 8am-5pm. This week, kids will embark on a foraging adventure, learning to identify edible and medicinal plants native to the Northwest. Along the way, we’ll emphasize the importance of safety—always foraging with an adult—and practice sustainable techniques to ensure these plants thrive for generations. Together, we’ll mindfully collect what we need, honoring the balance of nature, and explore the many uses of the plants we find. From teas to salves to tasty treats, campers will create their own plant-based concoctions, deepening their connection to the natural world through hands-on learning and creativity.
